About the story
Lootera movie revolves around two lovers Varun and Pakhi they both forbidden by their parents to marry each other,therefore the two elope get married.Sonakshi sinha as Pakhi was a village girl named Manikpur in West Bengal.she was the daughter of a Zamindar.Ranveer Singh as Varun was an archaeologist come to the village to excavate the temple ground of local Zamindar.With good knowledge at young age the Zamindar and his family easily get impressed.soon enough the marriage get end up in trouble and both got divorced.Varun has to choose his present or past after making choice Varun got disappeared and Pakhi was trying to forget her past with Varun. After 5years again they both come in a picture where they came to know they still in love each other.Varun realized that Pakhi is suffering some rare kind of disease and she will die soon.then Varun came up with a plan to sacrifice his life to save Pakhi's life.
